"The wedge salad was huge and very good. The Cod sandwich was average. The service was very good but my biggest complaint was the amount of wine in my glass of wine. I have never seen such a small amount of wine served. I thought it might have been a mistake but the second glass was a small as the first."

"10/28/23 I found this place on maps to find a new BBQ business and they have a lot of good reviews so here I am. Stopped in for lunch and I'd have to say my review. Food. I got 3 meat 3 sides. Burnt ends, pulled pork, sausage. For the meats was dam good. Burnt ends was so soft and tender yet had the burn crust was amazing! I would say... Best iv ever had? Pulled pork was a good also. However the sausage wasn't my favorite. It almost tastes like maybe beer boiled? But it wasn't as soft as I like it. Maybe a little dry? I can't explain but wasn't terrible. Sides. I got 3. BBQ beans, fries and cheesy corn. Fries was absolutely amazing! Had a great amount of seasoning yet, had cinnamon? But with the BBQ sauce was great flavor? They was cooked perfectly, great fries. Cheesy corn wasn't for me. BBQ beans... Sorry to say, it reminded me of plain chilli? I swear it was chili beens.. They still have more meats and sides. I'm going back for sure to try the rest. Drinks.. They have a full bar and cherry coke! I'm about the cherry coke out of the fountain! Also, they have sweet tea. Many places don't. Cons.. For a BBQ restaurant, they don't have Mac and cheese. But that's ok. It was the first cold day in KCMO, I thought it was a bit cold in there. Parking: Came on a Saturday. Some of the business's was closed so parking was ok."

"We enjoyed a great meal. the filet is incredible. my man had the meat manhattan, which is one of his favorites on the menu. we always enjoy the atmosphere in the fox gardin. the band was one of the favorite pieces. the service is as extraordinary as the foods and drinks. it won't be better than an evening meal in the fox gardin with great friends! love this place!"

"The Lee’s burger was a total treat. Wasn’t expecting the sautéed green peppers and provolone to add such a great flavor, but between that and the incredible soft bun, it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The shakes are good too. The fries are lacking, but after eating that monster burger, nobody had room anyway."

"We had out-of-town guests and needed a place where we wouldn't have too long a wait for dinner as we all needed to be elsewhere later that evening. Oddly, the hostess couldn't seem to locate our reservation though I had received confirmation from Open Table. They were able to quickly clear a booth for our party though it was cramped for a party of five. The food at the Well is your typical bar fare. The selection is varied so one can find something to please their palate. I had the fried fish tacos and enjoyed them. It is a neighborhood gem."
