"I was excited to order from this location. I ordered the Ribs and was looking forward to my order. The Natural St Louis Ribs were out of stock and the restaurant didnt bother to let me know they just replaced it with Turkey Natural Turkey Breast (By the Pound) which I do not like. I would pass on this place and buy from ANY of the other BBQ places around. They do not care about their customers."

"The absolute best home cooking in Austin. Hoover is an icon around these parts and his food is amazing. Personal favorites of mine are the meatloaf, chicken dumplings and fried chicken but there really isn’t a bad choice on the menu. Last but certainly not least are the endless amount of side dishes and desserts. Love this place!"

"Excellent food and service. I ordered the coke that was a fountain of Mexican coke. It had a different taste and our waiter Ian was more than happy to exchange him for a lemonade. I'm glad I did it because it was so good. We ordered the Pecan chocolate cake and it was so good. I recommend T22 Chicken to everyone."

"This place seems very dirty and unorganized there were flies everywhere. When you walk in there was no clean tables and the host tells you to sit wherever. I ordered a peach a Rita which had a good taste but not enough liquor in it for $11. The parking is the worse part of the experience you’ll be lucky if you don’t have to squeeze your vehicle in a small space. They only have two handicapped parking spaces if you are looking to bring someone who might need additional help.Parking: Parking here is a nightmare."

"Wonderful staff and even better BBQ from an established local place in east Austin. Brisket was moist, delicious, with an excellent flavor, sausage was great and the ribs were amazing.
