"Visited a wedding in September 2018 and dinner was made by the Nomad Gourmet . What a disaster! I read a Google review about this truck assignment a wedding that was a disaster and thought... one of the other guests must have written a review. No, the same truck different wedding. There were 10 tables of 8 guests each. Food came in saucers... maybe three or four burritos at a time....no where almost enough food to feed a table, let alone 10 tables. The service started at 5:30 a.m. and at 7:15 p.m. we had to look for food on table 8. the first 7 tables were back as their first exits obviously did not fill their plate, not their fault. Desaster. Guests on our table, including us leaving early because... good... hungry. I wouldn't recommend this guy to drive a hunger strike, no matter what special."

"We got in late to Halifax and this was right around the corner. They have a great selection of local beer, and some of their own. We both had delicious pasta dishes, lobster carbonara and scallop and shrimp fettuccini. Both delicious! This menu has much more than your average pub food. Check it out for the food and the beer! Very attentive staff, friendly and helpful."

"Well, I finally had the opportunity to get to try Qiu Brothers and I was not disappointed.I had the wonton soup and fried mixed dumplings to try for the first visit as the dumplings are the signature dish of the restaurant and wonton soup is the easiest dish to mess up if the chef is "challenged" as I have found out in many other restaurants. This was SPECTACULAR! The broth for the wonton soup was so flavourful that I couldn't put my spoon down. The subtle layers of flavor come on slowly and just give you that warm feeling inside. perfect for today as the temperature is -12c and the wind had long sharp teeth. The presentation of the fried shrimp and pork dumplings on the mixed order were presented beautifully and somehow tasted even better. The portions are generous and soooo worth it. This is a first review and I will be visiting again to ensure that the quality is consistent however, I am not even remotely concerned about that ad the owner was keen to show me how the ingredients are super fresh and looked amazing even before they were assembled into the dishes on the menu. I feel really good about recommending this as a go to spot for some very tasty and authenticity Chinese eats."

"Good general Chinese food. Very good customer service. I ordered something online and they were not sure what I meant so that they called and clarified instead of just sending me what I tried to order (it would have been wrong). The price was average and the portion sizes were generous."
