"This is a long standing institution in Memphis and beloved by many. But I tried it again after many years, didn't enjoy my experience and likely won't return. Most of our food was good. There is no beer on tap. And it is way overpriced. A sandwichwith no sides is 11.75. While our server was super friendly and great, I found the overall vibe to be unwelcoming especiallyfrom the bartender or owner or whoever she was. I know regulars have a lot to love about it. It just wasn't for me."

"Me and my wife went on Sunday and the only thing they were serving was brunch. The server didn't mention that the only thing the were serving was brunch just mentioned they had it. When we went to order that's when the server informed us that's all theywere serving. We then had to look at the menu all over again. When we did finally order it look a little while for our food tocome out. Let's just say the wait was not worth it. The food was very soggy and tasted awful. Neither I or my wife could startto finish the food. I'm not sure if the cook was having an off day or maybe it's a new cook because last time we went the foodwas good. Our server (I forget his name) kept disappearing and we had to ask another sever for our ticket. Before we left I hadto use the restroom and let me tell you a rest area on the side of the highway is cleaner than than their restroom. The urinalwas breeding mosquitos. They were everywhere in there and you could tell the restroom hadn't been cleaned in quite some time.After this visit we will not be returning to this restaurant."

"This was actually our 2nd choice, but the 1st. Choice would not make calls to ask questions about gluten-free products. So glad we landed here!! 1. I made a mistake and accidentally ordered an item I thought was GF, but it wasn't. You were super nice to change my order last minute. Everything was great, they have a fantastic dessert case where more than 1/2 the items were GF. I had real Southern Banana pudding for the first time in years. We can't wait to go back.
