"Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't busy but smelled a bit like spilled beer. Lights were dim with disco lights and the TVs were showing a soccer match. Waitress was attentive and friendly! We ordered nachos and wings (since that's what they are known for). Hot wings were good, a little dry but the nachos were great. It came with plenty of salsa and I really appreciated the layers of cheese and spiced chicken. Beer on tap and in bottles was domestic (no craft or import). Overall, it was good :) Maybe I'll be back for Dart night on Wednesdays."

"Made my first visit last night and was not disappointed. The pub itself is quite nice. Very clean and spacious. It's a bit dark, but not enough to be a deterrent. Since it's Tuesday night it was pretty quiet, which made it easy to read while waiting/eating. The staff was very friendly, helpful and patient. Serving time was excellent. The drink arrived immediately. I think the potato skins were about 10 minutes tops, although I was reading while I waited so I could be wrong, however I do know that I didn't wait long. The prices listed throughout the menu were all less than I was expecting and competitive compared to pricing one would find in the city.<br/ <br/ Make sure to bring a friend, as even the appetizer plates are pretty sizeable. I went with the loaded potato skins. Five servings with cheese, crumbled bacon, and bruschetta, as well as some sour cream on the side. They're very filling, so I ended up bringing half of it home. I'd definitely recommend pairing it with tomato juice or a cesar if they have it (went in with a drink in mind, so didn't bother checking the drink menu).<br/ <br/ Looking forward to my next visit and trying something new."

"I have been dining at Matty O’Shea’s many times since moving to Smith Falls. They have great deals on Thursday for date night. In the last two months, we went 3 times. The first two times, I ordered a burger on Gluten Free bun and fries. No problem and food was good. The bun was from a local store in Perth which I recognized. Third trip, I was eating my same order (mostly because burgers are the only GF option) and halfway through I realized I was sick already and noticed that the bun was NOT the same bun that I had been served the previous two times. It was a white regular bun. The server came over and agreed it was NOT the Gf bun, took it back to kitchen but kitchen staff said it was. I informed them that the two previous times I had been, they served the Purest buns from Perth (which is multigrain) and this bun is absolutely not GF and it’s white. The server confirmed that they had NOT changed the GF buns but continued to assert that the kitchen said it’s a Gf one. Now, the reality is that the bun was obviously not gluten free and instead of simply apologizing and acknowledging the error, they gaslighted me into trying to say it was gluten free. As a someone with Celiac’s, my body reacts IMMEDIATELY when someone isn’t GF so I knew it wasn’t. I know mistakes happen and that’s OK, but just own up to it and apologize. They continued to argue with me even as I had to run out of the restaurant to get sick. Just wish they had more compassion. If someone had a peanut allergy and went into anaphylactic shock, you wouldn’t argue and say “nope it was peanut free!” Please be cautious if you are celiac eating here."
