"Service was Outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the food and local beer. Despite a very crowded afternoon she took the time to answer our questions and engage in conversation about Victoria. Food was very good and well prepared. The length of time from ordering food to being served was appropriate for the dishes we ordered. Location looking over the harbor allows you to people watch as they walk by and observe seaplanes land in the harbor. There is seating inside and outside.We will stop by the next time we are in Victoria."

"Friends of ours, who have been here a few times, suggested it when we went in to town to meet up and have a catch up. What got my attention was $4.95 food choices! Can't beat that for an inexpensive lunch. We arrived a bit before 2pm, for a late lunch, and were seated right away, even though the place was fairly crowded. Our waitress was very friendly and super accommodating for the one person in our group with some allergies. The music is a bit on the loud side, for us middle aged folk, but some old school Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind & Fire helped ease that burden. Food choices are plentiful but they do try to upsell with add-ons and alcohol. All four of our choices were quite good, but, it took almost an hour for the food to arrive. After about a half hour of chatting we started to notice that people that arrived after us were already eating! Our friends who had been there a few times indicated that was not typical but after reading reviews later I see it is certainly not uncommon. So, it's a fun place with a great atmosphere, the crowd seems to be in the 25-35 range for the most part but the food is a great value and quite good. You just can't be in a hurry. If you've got time you should be just fine. Kind of loud for children as my impression."

"It’s really nice to have a restaurant next door. The place has gone through some ups and downs in the past few years, but the most recent brewery seems to be doing very well. We miss Axe and Barrels, but the current one is quite good too. Kristina here is friendly, and offered to exchange a different dish when we told her the noodle how was too salty. Anyways, love coming here in the neighbourhood!!"

"At the time it was fairly empty so service was very quick. The Caesar salad had lots of bacon and cheese and for an added cost some prawns were added, very tasty. The roast beef dinner was reasonably priced and was very large in size with Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables."

"Stopped in here on a Wednesday for dinner. My husband is a regular wing Wednesday fan! I however got a club sandwich and took advantage of the highball promotion. It was music bingo which was a lot of fun! Though, I wish they would say what the song was because I had absolutely no idea on a couple of them. I guess I'll have to follow my husband here more often."

"I usually go to 4 Mile for Wing Night. The servers are always kind and courteous. The food is good and what you would expect from a decent, local pub. I always have a good experience and have never left with a complaint. Definitely a great spot to meet up with friends."
