"We were a group 10 close friends and family who got together with some family members visiting from overseas. 5 of us live here in surfers paradise. We arrived at 5pm on Saturday to have afternoon drinks. It is a big venue and there was only one other group of 10 guys sitting together inside drinking beer. We sat near the bar with views to the water and ordered calamari $16 at the bar which I then had to walk to back of restaurant to collect when the buzzer rang. I thought I'd been given a kids meal. I asked the female manager on the floor if this was right and she says she didn't think it was worth $16 and the waitress with her said that's what it is abd always has been. They did not offer to get more from kitchen. There were 3 staff behind the bar and 3 floating on the floor doing nothing but no one looked after us. The group of guys then moved over near us and the bar and as they were getting rowdy and swearing. Then one of the waitresses came over and said she needs the area we are sitting in for a booking at 6pm. We looked at our watch and it was 6pm. No offer to move us to another area or apology for moving us. No wonder know one goes there!!!! They will go broke for sure!!!"
