"If you are in Laon, you really need to eat at Le Patio. From the outside, Le Patio does not look great, but we had been told to try it and we are so glad that we did. The food is superb. We liked it...so much that we returned for a second night's dinner. The spaghetti, salads, vegetables, and especially the salmon were delicious and filling, for a very reasonable price. My wife says It is the best food we had in France and it was for her as a vegetarian. I enjoyed it totally, also. The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Talking with the proprietor and staff and other guests, in French and in English, made the dinners even more enjoyable. We visited while it was cold in Laon, but I think there is outdoor dining available when the weather permits. We didn't do it but they also fix pizza to go. Also, Patio is French, so it is not pronounced pat-e-o, but pa-twa that will help if you need to ask for directions on the way there."
