"This place is kind of a hole-in-the-wall place but it always hold a special place in our heart. They are always very friendly there, while it's called a sports bar there's only a few TVs. However they will do their best to try to accommodate you with whatever game you want to watch. They don't have all the channels though so be forewarned. You might want to check out early to see if they actually have the game that you want to watch before you decide to spend the time to watch your game there. They have live music several times a week which is fun."

"We just returned from our second visit to Casa Velas. The restaurant has definitely improved it's service and food quality and not a bad meal was had. Minor improvements can still be made and suggestions are offered:1. Shortly after the entree is served, the waiter should return to the table to ask how everything is. There are often things found after the food is served that could use attention. At our previous visit, my wife received "medium-rare" lamb chops that were too rare to eat. No one ever came by to ask how everything was.2. Provide salt and pepper shakers on the table, as is done for breakfast and lunch.3. When picking up the plates after dinner, ask if anyone would like coffee, tea, more wine, etc.4. When coffee or tea is served, make sure there are teaspoons on the table (if not earlier when the table is set)."

"There are a number of great restaurants in the Marina area and competition is high. After tonight, Taco Tango is now at the top of our list of go-to places to eat. We started our meal with the corn, cheese and poblano empanada, served piping hot with creamy filling and flaky fresh crust. The seafood tacos featured 2 fish and 2 shrimp tacos accompanied by a nice assortment of freshly made toppings and unique and tasty sauces. The steak quesadilla featured a mixture of well seasoned and tender grilled steak. The margaritas, while small, were potent with just the right degree of tartness. With a front seat view of the Marina, it was a very nice setting for our simple supper. The service was attentive and friendly. We will most definitely return and will recommend to our friends who live here and who visit."
