"This restaurant is easily missed being tucked in the cellar under an exclusive Thai restaurant. When found it has a very pleasant atmosphere between a bar and restaurant. The menu is only on a blackboard with the usual collection of pork lamb veal and beef each with a slight twist. No menu or plat de jour. Having eaten ourself silly for several days my wife opted for the sea bass and I for the lamb chops only. The lamb arrived with the vegetables jus and meat stone cold but pink. I sent it back with no argument and the new dish arrived very quickly with some improvements but the potato gratin red hot and burnt underneath. They were busy but this should not happen in a mid class restaurant. The desert of figs and caramelised apple was delicious. The wine list is very large with a very good selection of bottles half bottles an glasses. The waitress was a little abrupt but acceptable. Prices were reasonable. Pity with a little bit of extra attention this could be a very good restaurant. For a start try warming the plates."

"We sat down to a late late lunch / early dinner at 4:55pm, had our drinks by 5:10pm and our Plat du Jour (fish, 13.50€) by 5:20pm.The fish was wonderfully fresh and cooked perfectly, with some surprise moules. We switched out he baked potato for fries- which didn't seem to be a problem at all. We asked for some water for our dog- this wasn't an issue either.We finished our meal with a Cafe Gourmand to share - which was a generous trio of local desserts copious for two to share if you both have a coffee. The moment we sat down I checked the other reviews on Tripadvisor. Which prepared me for a horrific meal, abhorrent service and mediocre dining experience.I'm not sure if it was the fact that we dined between peak times, or if it was that we took the Plat du Jour (you might expect that this be done right) or if it was that Tripadvisor was open on my phone when our drinks arrived- but we had a really nice meal.This resto is in a lovely location, it is indeed well situated for people watching, with plenty of shade and they make a mean Mojito!I would visit again (during off peak times) for the PDJ, which I thought was good value. The Mojito was 8.50€, which I think is normal for the area.I have uploaded pictures of the menu, the receipt, and the meals we had."

"This restaurant is attached to a hotel, so its probably not the first place that comes to mind for a fine dinner in Biarritz, but it is quite good. The dishes were inventive and presented well, and the service was attentive. On the downside, the...wine list needs some help and be aware that the outdoor seating allows smoking...we were not bothered, but we did observe a couple across the room caught downwind of a table of smokers and they were not too happy about it."

"Excellent! It's all home. Value for money Even the Mayo and the ketchup are made by them. Excellent meat, idem bread. Besides, the staff is nice! Go on once and you'll be back soon!"
