"This family owned and operated restaurant was the highlight of our visit to Braga. The family is so kind, warm, and friendly. Our first meal was the hake fish. Mine was covered in steamed onions and fresh garlic with thinly sliced, fried potatoes. Oh my oh my, out of this world delicious! The wife had the grilled hake with small fresh whole boiled potatoes. And again, oh my! We actually tried a different place today and what a mistake. Left there and went back to Bem me Quer for desert and coffee. We were discussing port wines with the son when the mother brought over to our table a glass and poured us a small amount of port to try. It was very good and we asked where we could buy some. They told us that it was a small batch producer, but they would find us a bottle. The father got on his phone and made a call. They are having the port delivered to the restaurant for us tomorrow. Oh yeah, and while we are there, let’s eat!"

"Some time ago, while walking through braga I noticed this packed little restaurant (it was a Friday night) almost hidden in a corner in the city part senhora a branca. what hit me most were the happy, joyful expressions of the malice at eating. I have to come next time in braga, I thought, and so the time came and I went, together with my sister, to this wonderful place. a Tuesday evening and a bit early for Portuguese pattern, in the environment there were already two people. service was fast, friendly and impeccable, always with good advice. we have to share for a few petiscos (tapas in Portuguese) and a main dish that there was absolutely no objection. we also ordered two glasses house wine, a wise choice (don't remember his names). one of the petiscos was a serving of cured cheese and it was heavenly! Cheese lover, yuo can't happen. the other was something new for me, called azedo. it comes from the northeast corner of portugal and it was a taste party u mouth. I can only describe it as a kind of alheira sausage, but it was served without the cover, on the top sauteed collar greens just wonderful! the main dish was roasted costela mendinha I think it is called short nativity served with the wonderful baked carrots and some other side servings that seemed seasonal. I will come back"

"My second time eating here. First time around I'd give it a 5 but this second time around the service was terrible, the soup was warm, our main meal, which was the Lamb was tasty but the veggies was served late and the rice was never served, waitress apologized with but with no explanation Very disappointed this time around but the Lamb was amazing. Need experience waiters/waitress."
