"We reserved our first dinner in PEI at Claddagh about a week before getting there! We started with a dozen fresh oysters (3 different types out of an impressive selection) which our waiter was really knowledgeable about and was able to make reccomendations. We ate them so quickly we forgot to snap a pic. Then we got the seafood pasta, and the striploin plate with PEI potatoes. The plating was stunning and the food was delicious. We finished our plates completely. The restaurant is small on a popular street so you may want to book in advance. The ambience inside was stunning, and we were within a comfortable walking distance to our hotel."

"My family and I have always loved Swiss Chalet In NB and NS. However, the Charlottetown PEI leaves a lot to be desired! Great place to go if you like no service and you get to watch all the waitresses and waiters lean on a counter and chat. While they play with their hair, one waiter dug out his ear wiped it on his pant leg , then served the food to his customers. Not cool! The last time we ate at this restaurant there was very poor service, and the food was, at best, adequate. Thought we would give it another try, really see no improvements. I blame this on the mangers not being trained or caring about the customers . In the future we have decided to spend our time and money elsewhere, and this week we broke the year hiatus with Swiss Chalet. Unfortunately this encounter was no better than the last. Our meal was just so so, with items missing, we had to do head stands just to get our food. . The food we did receive was very poor quality. Swiss Chalet can no longer deliver quality food or service. We will make sure not to spend our money here. We will also pass the word around , do not waste your time. It has become a real dump.Visited on Dec 3 2016"

"This restaurant belongs to the family who are not like colored people. We ordered family dinners. The two white families asked for us and served before us. They did not welcome us as anyone else. We didn't have the same treatment in the maid Marian Diner. I just don't understand why the treatment is different. I hate racism."

"My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Mavors last evening. The meal was wonderful every single thing was delicious, we felt it was excellent value for our money. Our server Katie was also excellent; so a thoroughly lovely evening! The only down side was that although there were lots of empty tables, we were seated in a very brightly lit area on rather uncomfortable chairs. There were candles on the tables, but they were not lit, nor were the lights dimmed. We will definitely be back, but next time when making the reservation we will ask for a table in one of the other areas that looked much more inviting, with softer lighting and plush armchairs. Hate to complain at all, since overall we had a great experience, but just a little more effort with the ambience is the one suggestion we would make."

"We had a really good evening at the Water Prince. The staff was amazing and very nice we had a really good chit chat. The two lobster rolls ask for the daily changing market price drove us away, they were really exceptionally good. The interior of the restaurant is also fascinating as you can see so many different elements. Just beautiful! We recommend you to go here and have some delicious seafood. We advise to book a table because the restaurant is not that big."

"Our second visit here, just as good as the first! We had veggie burgers during our first visit, which were amazing. Our second time here I had a vegan sandwich which they make there own GF vegan bread for, it's so delicious! We also got the vegan Sheppards pie which was really filling and delicious! They make their own chips as a side, beer chips too! Sweet potato Fries were also good! Friday nights live entertainment. Serve upstreet beer. Lots of options on the menu! Highly recommend!"
