"This evening the four of us each ordered the 3-course menu and were very surprised at the quality of the food. The service was very accommodating and very friendly. We were very impressed with the starter, the rump steak was very tasty and at the end the dessert was also very convincing. "Here you are well-attended if you want to go out to dinner in a quiet, cozy atmosphere. The Waldschenke is a bit off the hustle and offers conventional bourgeois cuisine, which is solidly prepared and tastes well. The whole thing with nice operation and a reasonable price/performance ratio. We were there for lunch and very satisfied therefore from our point of view a clear recommendation. In the evening the Waldschenke was unfortunately only open until 19:00, unfortunately we did not manage to get a table for an early dinner in two spontaneous attempts."

"I was disappointed. we had ordered online. when we arrived and the waiter saw that we had a baby with us, his face expression showed that he didn't like it. out of my sight he was very unfriendly. I'm not going to go any more. Despite the bad impression, the staff got drinking money. when leaving the restaurant, none of the infinitely many employees considered necessary to say goodbye. for what the restaurant wants to represent.....must learn a lot. thank you for nothing."

"The service was okay. I have rarely eaten such a bad curry sausage. The sauce was tasty, but very watery and the pommes were not seasoned and therefore had hardly any taste. The Great Currywurst was not especially big and 3 of our 6th group were not fed. However, the price and ambience were very good. LG"

"Peter punishes us again on Usedom with a rainy weather. So we drive by car to Peenemünde and look at the remains of the darkest German history. But such a museum visit also makes hungry. We choose the Pomeranian court in the hope of illuminating the day at least in a culinary manner. The Pommersche Hof is centrally located in Heringsdorf on the square of peace. The hotel is an impressive two-storey, white construction with an extended roof lap in the Kaiserbad style. The restaurant on the ground floor is a conservatory in front of which the hotel's outdoor restaurants are located. The guest area is modernly furnished. The walls are partly wood-coated to more than three quarters of height. Blue-green patterned carpet contrasted to white ceiling. In various niches, beige, patterned benches and equally related basket braid chairs group around dark, white covered tables. The large guest room is divided by several semi-high space separators and mirrored columns. The furnishing of the guest room is not uniform. In one area, white covered tables group basket braid chairs with red covers, in another area comfortable dark brown high-rests with beige-colored covers. Winter garden In the conservatory with the wide glass front towards the square of peace and the glass roof, the red chairs dominate at the white covered tables. When we enter the Pommerschen Hof, two travel companies are currently being provided. Nevertheless, we find a free table right in front of the niche on the first picture above. We feel well here, the ambience is not the sound, but you can sit here comfortably. We give four stars for the ambience. A young man serves us the night. At first he gives himself a little locked, you might think that he had contact difficulties. But in the course of the evening he is baptized and open. He understands his craftsmanship. He serves us kindly and attentively, asks whether the food is okay and whether it has tasted or tasted us. He has a lot to do with cleanup when the travel companies break up. Nevertheless, his attention does not suffer a bit for us. We also praised him for that. Service: Four stars! We go through the menu that the young man has left us. Natural German dishes, partly with a regional, pommerschem impact, are offered at moderate prices. In some foods, you can see that the chef wants creativity to flow in, so that she can get rid of traditional German dishes. The young, diligent serviceman noted for us: for my wife and for me. As a companion drink we choose an open a greeting from the kitchen there is not. We wait a reasonable time, then the young man serves us the main foods. Seaweed in the pastry with sauce Remoulade, roast potatoes and a salad variation On the plate of my loved ones are three pieces of seaweed on a thick stick Remoulade. On the side are fried potatoes and salad decoration. For the fish there is a lemon grove. The hake is crispy fried in the pastry. The Remoulade is obviously homemade, it is acidic, not mayonnaise-lastic, piecey of the many onions and cucumbers. Speck and onions are on the frying potatoes, but they are too pale. The potato slices are partly fried only on one side, they could have stayed much longer in the pan. Nevertheless, my wife's roast potatoes taste. The salad dressing consists of Radicchio and Frisee with a sour cream dressing. The fresh carrot salad is made with vinegar and oil. In addition, there are two cucumber slices and two tomato rolls in the salad decoration. Rumpsteak from the Pomeranian pasture bark, with a shallot-champignon-ragoût and rosemary On my plate there is a handsome rag steak on a stretchy portion of rosemary. A salad decoration of three different leaf salad varieties and a slice of herbal butter are next to potatoes and meat. At Gargrad, the kitchen didn't hit my Rumpsteak, which I ordered medium. The steak is more medium-rare than medium. But I don't mind. I also like to eat a bloody pink steak. The steak tastes very good with the herbal butter. The rosemary flakes are very well prepared. They seem to have been in the pan longer than my wife's roast potatoes. I like to eat them so well. The Champignon-Schalotten-Ragoût, which has been poured over the rosemary flakes, has an aromatic taste and refined the rosemary potato flavor. Both my wife's court and my court are a little strangled. We season with salt and pepper. We agree that the dishes have been prepared by craftsmanship, that they have tasted and that, except for the preparation of roast potatoes, there is nothing that could have been made decisively better. We are very happy. We also tell the young man who finally asks us if we had any wishes. We're headed for something sweet. We'll ask for the ice card. My wife decides for I take an ice cup we don't wait long. Ice cream "
