"Still looking for a good place for Baba Nyonya food? Come, let you show you a place, Restaurant Big Baba, a peranakan wee family cuisine. Nonya cooking is the result of blending Chinese ingredients with various distinct spices and cooking techniques used by the Malay/Indonesian community. <br/ <br/ The bright colour wooden door makes the restaurant easy to find! It doesn't have the modern design for the outer part of the restaurant. They keep it vintage, old school and special. <br/ <br/ I've fall in love with this restaurant! The restaurant is decorated in the manner of vintage peranakan, the traditional Chinese Malays and antique-like furniture. Don't worry they provide air-cond. <br/ <br/ Pong Teh is actually a Nyonya chicken and potato stew. Generally, it's a chicken stew cooked with potatoes. Suitable for children and elder people as the chicken and potatoes are soft. You don'e need to struggle when you're eating it!<br/ <br/ This is the dry type curry chicken. I prefer eating this type of curry than those will too much kuah. With only this, I can eat 3 bowl of rice. Nom nom nom. Not very spicy, chicken is soft and moist! <br/ <br/ Who love terung? This delicious cuisine uses eggplant for the basic ingredients. For those who love eggplant, you definitely going to fall in love with this! The eggplant has absorb all the sauce, the moment you bite on the eggplant, the sauce just squirt out!<br/ <br/ Ahhh!!!! I love petai! When petai meet prawn, PERFECT! I couldn't understand why some of the people hate petai! For me, petai smell so good! This sambal petai udang is salty, sweet, sour and spicy. The prawn is fresh so fresh! I can eat this everyday! <br/ <br/ This dry-braised beef rendang is extravagantly rich. This rendang beef smells incredible. <br/ <br/ Otak Otak is one of my favorite snacks. I use to eat this whenever I visit Malacca. The portion of this otak otak is quite small. Not sure about you but it definitely not enough for me. <br/ <br/ Jiu hu char is a dish of stir fried turnip. Jiu Hu Char is a one popular nyonya stir fry dish. The turnip is so soft and moist.<br/ <br/ Itik Tim is basically a salted vegetable duck soup. If you love salted vegetable, then you gonna in love with this. Dinner is never complete when there's no soup! This soup taste so good. Not too salty, I still can smell the duck in the soup."

"Service was good but the food is not worth the price. The platter is full of mixed items but the seafood was not fresh and not tasty too. Too many chips on the platter and not enough sea food items"

"Spend quality and valuable time with my family in a classic, cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant. We don't know the Italian cuisine so much, but the manager, Mr. Darshan was very attentive and helped us choose the best selection this night. We enjoyed the dishes and thank you for the delicious dishes and beautifully presented Antipasto Di Mare. Kudos to the team!"

"Very fresh moist purple carrot cake. A must try dessert here. I ordered Vongole Chorizo pasta and creme brulee. Pasta is served with lots of chorizo pieces and clams. The purple carrot cake was takeaway for afternoon tea later. They observed all dine-in SOP. Finally can dine-in after many months."

"We found this spot near our hotel. With a Street that's full of restaurants we wanted something light and quick and this place hit the spot. They have a huge selection of wines from all over the world including sangria. They also have several cocktails and a few beers. We had a tortilla Espanola which is pretty good not very authentic but it did it's job served with aioli. The shrimp in garlic was amazing and they brought it out with bread to soak up all the juices and garlic. We also ordered toasted bread with tomato garlic and olive oil, also a win. The restaurant was very chic and well decorated. The staff was friendly and we had an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend the spot for some shared tapas between friends or a couple."

"The fish was good, surprisingly good I would say this place is better at this than the waffles it pushes heavily as it 's 'thing '.<br/ <br/ Would recommend it for seafood lunch or dinner but wouldn 't for a waffle breakfast or lunch."

"I think this is the only dedicated vegetarian restaurant in solaris dutamas. extensive menu. the menu has now been updated to clearly show which items contain milk, eggs, chili and wobble so it is great. they even let me veganize the curry noodles and instead exchange the egg-Widan noodles for hory fun rice noodles. yes! I always enjoyed eating here and it seems that they have extended their menu at the time of writing. updated by previous review on 2018-04-28"

"The ambience is good. Surprisingly, the perking duck tastes excellent, in particular by mixing with the peppercorns chili oil. Together with the StrongBow Zider, it's just wonderful."
