"The cheeseburger meat was gray and barely warm. It tasted pre frozen. The french fries were mushy. Disappointing dinner. The service was barely adequate."

"On the second day of our stay, the day between Sunday and holiday, we came back by train from a total disappointing trip to Mücheln and Querfurt. Because of the rainy weather, we had no desire to leave the hotel again in the evening and decided to drink a coffee first and then buy us something for the evening. Coming from the railway station, the “Hölle” was the first open operation where we could get a coffee. At the door we could read a sign with the information that only until 17:00 was opened, which initially irritated us somewhat, as the regular opening time goes until 18:00. In the absence of recognisable alternatives, we entered a table at the window. At first there was no staff to see, it was also just another table with five people. Shortly afterwards, an operation came to our table, greeted us and handed us the cards. When she returned to our table after a few minutes, we ordered a milk coffee (1.60 € and a Cappucino (2.20 €), but then asked to leave the cards with us. We had already seen the very cheap offers of the local good-bourgeois cuisine and decided that we could also eat there. Our coffees were served and both proved to be well drinkable. But the following attempt to order something to eat started the drama. My choice had fallen on “Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln”, but the service explained that there were no roast potatoes. The reason is that yesterday's Sunday is closed and also on tomorrow's holiday. This is also the reason for the reduced opening time only until 17:00. Thus, only about half a dozen dishes remained from the map. Madame claimed not to have a great hunger anyway, and ordered a goulash soup in the big version (5.70 €. I then found a “scarving with dishes and fries” (€7.80), where the place was still declared a mirror and the whole as a hamburg carving. After a relatively short time both foods were served in succession. The goulash soup was most likely warmed up in the microwave and was so glowingly hot that I burned my mouth when trying. Otherwise, she was very good taste, Madame called her Aalsuppe: Aal's am (all in it, because apart from the really delicate pieces of meat, she still contained a large amount of different vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots etc. On my plate there was a not quite small carving half on a portion of French fries and was even partly covered by a very well roasted mirror egg. The fries in the cringel section were clearly freshly fried, hot and crispy. In mirror egg the protein was kept clean while the egg was still liquid. The carving alone was clear from the frituse, which also explained the short waiting time. Madame was happy with her goulash soup, I was also happy with my carving with deductions in the B note, but we were tired at all times. At any rate, the operation that we were the only one to face from the staff was a significant effort in view of the difficult situation. Maybe it was also her own who had to use microwave and frituse. The etablissement was, as far as recognizable, clean and well-maintained with the dazzling light, in dishes, glasses and cutlery there was no cause for action. On the toilets, however, a very submissive cleaning force must be active, because the floors in both compartments were very well maintained and clean, but from about 1.5 m height there were abundant and partly already very black spun webs."
