"Visited on a busy Saturday night, upon arrival we were quickly seated and provided with menu. I loved the Viking theme and ambience of mjolner, we were provided the option of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic shot in a horn cup, for our mains we were provided a selection of knives and daggers to choose from which is quite different and exciting.<br/ Highlight dishes were the short ribs and the venison tartare. The short ribs were cooked so well and the meat was so tender.<br/ <br/ The fish had too much bones, making it very difficulf to enjoy and messy to eat due to the bones.<br/ <br/ Portion size was massive! Great for sharing, and a fun place to dine with a large group"

"What an incredible truffle menu of this winter! The sweet potato truffle fries are a must, they are mouth, which is always good and the serving is pretty big, so get that as a side dish to share it. The crispy truffle chicken breast was another winner - incredibly tender chicken, the puree was so smooth, creamy and is perfect and there was a beautiful little crib by the artichoke chips. Although the truffle flavor with the fries was more conspicuous, I fully polished the chicken and would order it again. The French Gaytime toast is always a pleasure, it is surprisingly not excessively not cute, and the brioche used is flaky and crispy on the edges that are soaked with caramel sauce with a side of ice cream and strawberries (how can you go wrong!) . The Beijing Duck Truffle Pasta was also good, but I have to say that I preferred I preferred the other dishes. Overall, there are no complaints next to the long waiting time to come in, but I think that's awaited for the good brunch spots!"

"This is a native for me and I am often after work there, in which a beautiful pinot, while I work on my blog. the staff is always friendly and will be a talk with them as soon as they in. it is relaxed and funky and directly at the rande of surry hills. I'm a big fan and hope you'll be too!"
