"Les nems au porc sont bons et le riz cantonais assez poivré la salade verte ainsi que les sauces sont en supplément bof bof !!! Au niveau du tarif cela reste raisonnable"

"Beautiful original interpretations of contemporary Italian dishes flow from a diverse menu in this small intimate restaurant in a quiet street close to, but behind the old harbour, 10 minutes to foot from anywhere in the city of bastia. we were warmly welcomed and speak little. the French employees have helped us with advice and suggestions. there were several vegetarian options available under entrés, salates and netzen. the menu was so interesting and served generously. when we returned a few days later to enjoy another meal, we asked to share every cure and fortunately were given small tellers to share the meal. we didn't try their pizza, but they looked good when they went to other tables. we were amazed by the creative salads, and the pasta dishes we tried were delicious (tando huhorin, grilled sleeve leg, la norma; the latter with auberginen, mozzarella and tomaten pesto.) the baked aubergine and parmesan entré were incredibly delicious. the wee were also very balanced and pleasant. if they are tired of crowded and loud tables in tourist hotspots offer bland ubiquitous harbourside menus they would do well to have a meal in la braise and experience something else with personalized warm friendly service."

"This tiny family-run restaurant is a real gem for those who enjoy healthy, tasty, traditional and very authentic Thai eating or looking for a nice change from ubiquitous Italian restaurants. with just a few tables and in a great location nearby...but behind the old harbour, this is a good place for quiet talk. the Thai couple that cook and serve went out of the way to create beautiful main courses that were not on the menu for one of us who is vegetarian. the food was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. the flavors have been adapted to our different tastes. the desserts were delightful (fresh mango on a bed sweet rice and roasted sesame; bananen gently boiled in cocos milk.) the whole meal inclusive wine was inexpensive. we were so impressed that during our short visit to bastia we returned a second night to dinner. it was better."
