"A great place for a delicious home cooked meal. The owner is very friendly and she makes eating in her restaurant a wonderful and fun experience. You choose the main and the simple but delicious starters and mains come as standard. The homemade ginger juice is a delicious must too."

"We ate here on our first night in Carcassone after hearing positive reviews about it. The staff were welcoming and friendly, we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English but we managed. We had the duck and steak for our main courses, served with green beans and crispy skin on fries. The food was amazing and the portions were generous and we received plenty of complimentary bread. We shared a pudding which was a fabulous chocolate gateau with ice cream and toffee sauce. Great atmosphere, fair price, lovely wine, we wanted to eat here again on the Sun night but unfortunately it was closed."

"I went to this place with my friend and her family, as we were looking for local (kassoulet) and other options. the cassoulet ended to turn, but the goat salat and burger left much to wish. best was the salad...boring and consisted of romaine with some overripe cubed tomats as well as the cheese on their haushahn c’est tout. vinaigrette boring. and of course not cheap. I have many salads since very frank, which were beautiful and full of taste with wonderful fresh vegetables. my lyonnaise friends were quite disappointed in this choice."

"Recently revamped it looks like any fast food outlet. No ambiance. BUT the food is excellent and cooked fresh daily, the cost is definetly on the low side (€4.50 for a kebab + all trimmings). Just off the Place Gambetta you can watch traffic go by, or each Saturday eat in the heart of a HUGE street market. Service is quick, young waiter speaks English. If you do not want fancy cuisine, but you like autherntic at low prices, try it."

"Walked all round La Cite...came across this little place. Offered a light lunch formule (panini or sandwich and a drink for under 7 euros). Their is no waitress service, just order at the counter. I had a ham, tomato and cheese panini, served piping hot and absolutely delicious. Sat in the shaded courtyard, behind the service desk. Allowed us to cool down on the very hot day we were there. They also do fresh crepes as well. Would go again"
