"Always excellent service, fresh juicy crispy poulet and even pomme De terre frites!! Speedy service you need to leave to eat, this is only a pop up take away chicken gastro. Super trendy in a hot area, (a mere 700 steps from trinity bellwoods park) . Their creamy colslaw is to die for especially after a long night drinking hot rum on the roof of my apt. Apres every purchase you have the opportunity to have a bonus helping of popcorn chicken bites with your choice of one of their in ~house handmade artisinal sauces.Excellent spot for any enthusiast or collector of Bonne poulet"

"Made another visit to the Hot Stove on Friday and was, once again greeted with great service, great food and a busy, well organized restaurant. Where else can you go to a fancy restaurant in a hockey jersey and feel right at home. We love this location because we don't need to rush out for the game. We can simply stroll down the stands and be in our seats. Its also great to be able to come back during the intermissions. Tried the pork chop this time and it was perfectly prepared. I know everyone at our table was very happy with the service and the quality of food. Always a good choice in a city so full of choices."

"Unique and creatively Canadian cuisine. Amazing tasting menu, portions are small but filling! Shared a tasting menu between 2 people and was sufficient. Service was great! Would definitely come back, especially since the menu changes to often!"

"There is no place better to split a cote de boeuf. The combination of the staff, atmosphere and quality of food keeps me coming back. My favourite is sitting at the bar beside the open kitchen and watching all the food being prepared The deluxe prefix they just came out with is off the charts, the grilled octopus is unreal"

"This place is near by to where my brother lives in the city so we went here when we were in a small rush to get somewhere. It was a very nice place in terms of being simple and clean on the inside as well as having outdoor seating. One of my favourite things was that they showed on a map of southern Ontario where they sourced all their products from. That was commendable and I hope more businesses start to do that.I had the Adopted Luke beef burger and it was great. It was well done and had nice flavours. It was made with mushrooms, caramelized onions, smoked gouda and bbq sauce. I ordered it with sweet potato fries which was unfortunately the only main flaw of the meal. They weren't really warm and slightly dehydrated. Must have been an old batch and I guess people don't order them often, not sure but they weren't great. This is why I only gave 4/5 since you have to be able to also do your fries well and have them warm for the customer. Service was good, people were nice and the place was clean. It's a nice place for a locally sourced meal. Well done, just work on those fries."

"What a perfect place. The service is impeccable, very friendly and paid attention. And quick. Honest too, as they said I ordered too much. But I wanted to taste. And it was worth it. The mixed platter as a starter, is good for 3 people. I had the humus and the babaganuij, Freshly made, it tastes. The falafel, crispy, and warm and tasty. Salmon from the grill was excellent. Definitely a place to go back, be sure to pre-book. Even on weekdays I expect"
