"Update: We visited the OTH on Monday evening (3/7) and got no good service, so I took a star away. The waiter was charming, and there were hidden fees. Our server wasn't clear at all. It was a bit disappointing to be honest. I prefer a friendly service. Great food, great service and beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. We usually stay in La Quinta and it is directly opposite. You have a nice beer selection, beautiful salads, and the prices are very fair. They were very accommodating in the past when we brought our HUGE dog to the motel with us, and they served us on the terrace."

"My first time coming here was a few weeks ago, meaning that I had the COVID experience when I arrived. We had our temperature checked upon arrival and had the option of indoor or outdoor seating. My family and I had initially decided on outdoor seating but it was so windy we decided it would be better to go inside. While inside, we were more than 6 ft from any other table and our waitress wore a mask the whole time she served us. The food was amazing and all for a very fair price. I felt very safe eating here and I will definitely be back!"

"Read more about this place in a taste of Newport articles, so we stopped. Really happy. Love the hole in the wall local type of feeling. Had the children's dog, Krauthund and Kale soup. Eat cheap too. The cost was $7."

"Yummmmmmmmmm!!!! Oh, my goodness, what a cool menu, the most interesting grilled cheese sandwiches! I had the Thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious!!! I always think about it and I want to go back. They are known for their cookies and Spud Nuggets. There are covered outdoor seating and they seem to do a busy take-out business."

"Visiting Newport and came to this place last night for a drink, and wanted to come back for dinner tonight. First, my husband and I both didn't enjoy our drinks from yesterday blueberry mule and whiskey sour), but we liked the atmosphere of the place so we decided to give it another chance for dinner. The decor is cool but it was hot and musty inside. We were sat right away, but it took a rather long time for a server to grab out orders. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we had a feeling from the beginning things would be on the slower side. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered a burger with cheese $1 extra) and bacon $2) extra. My quesadilla was a quesadilla, not much to mess up with a tortilla and cheese, but I will say it's quite evident the chicken they used was microwaved out of a bag. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, it came the first time around well done and burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and finally when it came back, it was still burnt to a crisp on the outside, but inside was rare as can be. Overall service was pretty sub par, the manager never came over to apologize for the food being sent back, just walked by and gave us weird looks a few times."

"Great bar food, friendly staff, especially given the crazy evening after the eclipse. My only wish is that they'd put sports back on the TVs Fox News is an insult. Leaving it as a 5 star rating, though, for the food/service."

"Stopped in to this location to grab a quick healthy lunch. They had several salads that looked yummy. We sat outside where they have plenty of seating and great ambience! We had to local IPAs to start with. My day also had a bloody Mary which he said was so good! We both had a kale and radicchio salad. I had tuna and he had salmon. The salads were absolutely delicious. They weren't huge so we definitely could've got an appetizer as well but we didn't. The salmon and tuna was perfectly cooked and complimented the salad well. I can tell why this location was so busy!"
