"Ches's is one of the most delicious places I have eaten in St. John's. Their chips are amazing! My chicken sandwhich is always perfect as well. They also offer you a little free cupcake after your meal. But you should also try the five star bar for dessert. It is the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Just the right size so that it doesn't make you stuffed but leaves you with your sweet craving fufilled. The staff is always friendly and make you feel at home. You gotta give it a try, you won't regret it!"

"I met a friend for an early supper (4:30). Easy to find with a big parking lot, Britts overlooks the gold course below. The windows have a grid on them to guard against rogue balls. I enjoyed the Herb and Mushroom chicken, which was very tasty. My friend have the spinach salad with chicken, which looked fresh and tasty - dressing was served on the side. There isn't much on the menu for gluten free diets, then again I didn't ask if they could modify any of the menu selections to accommodate. Our waitress was lovely - attentive, prompt and friendly. The restaurant itself was large and airy with a very good vibe. All in all, a great experience and would go back again and again."

"Fantastic restaurant in the heart of our city! Our table couldn’t get enough of their wicked Lemon Pie drink and the flavours in the food were unbelievable. Two had the duck and the rest had a beef special: both meals presented beautifully and were cooked to perfection. Our server Rob was friendly, just the right amount of attentive and the definition of service with a smile. A must visit if from Saint John or visiting the city!"

"My partner and I were uptown for the Moonlight Bazaar and we foolishly did not make a reservation. After walking around for a while we found Britt's had a few seats left in their bar. I must say on such a busy day the staff were on the ball, moving quickly to seat and serve people. We did not wait long at all for our drinks, even though our server made them herself. The food was out quickly for such a busy night, and it was delicious! Most impressive of all, even though they were busy, they never made us feel like we were rushed. That to me is the most important thing, I don't want to feel rushed out the door if I'm giving you my business. Very good work from the team! Keep it up, you guys rock!"

"Here on the recommendation of Terra from another place; although I am not so sure I made the right decision. “Barely” a décor. Sparse. Older clientele with their own menu. Had the MeatLoaf dinner which at 14.99 was more “loaf” than “meat”. Bland. Expensive....Poor Value. Although I did have pleasant service on a rainy day with not too much else to do…."
