"First trip to Ucluelet and found Frankie’s to eat at. The waitress was amazing and running all tables. We order our food. Pork belly was amazing and done perfectly. Order the brisket poutine and it was fabulous. Also the grilled chicken in French fries. Totally out of this world . We loved the fries so much. If we ever make it back we would definitely go back. Worth every penny."

"We brought our guests to Currents expecting a dining experience and received anything but that. First, they were serving only their bistro menu, so the selection was sparse very disappointed we were not advised on this detail when we booked the reservation for...dinner. Second, the service was slow, inattentive and not friendly. Third, not all of our guests could even eat their meals due to it being either drowned in salt or overcooked. Very disappointing."

"We landed in Ucluelet on a wet Wednesday in August. We checked Happy Cow and the vegan options were very limited. We believed in Frankie’s and asked if they had something to say vegan, "yes, we have afterlife meat sausages" They came with salad and vegan poutine. I had only Fritten and Gravy with him (not a lover of Daiya cheese). Other vegan options were salads and pommes. I know this may not be so good, but Ucluelet is SO limited. This was a jewel of a fund and the best food I had on the island all week. Beer was good too!"

"Organized, calm, skilled and friendly chef here so the food will not disappoint. Thank you for the delicious meal! Your Beef Wellington/Eggs Benny was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! French toast was unique and in a delicious class of its own. Bacon crispy yummy! Service suggestions for waitress Open on time and be ready to receive customers. Take your time when asking customer questions, wait patiently for answers before walking away. Besides that we felt well looked after and you checked back with us at reasonable intervals.
