"I finally found Vietnamese rice rolls!! The food was so fresh, flavourful and presented well. My partner had the vermicelli with spring rolls and grilled pork and chicken and he really enjoyed it. He said the only thing he would have added to improve the dish was chilli and some Vietnamese mint. My rice rolls dish was packed with fresh vegetables, herbs, toasted peanuts, Vietnamese sausage and chicken loaf and smooth rice rolls. When I mixed everything together, all the flavours and textures worked so well. I will definitely come back and try their other dishes. The food is so cheap too, only about $11 per dish!"

"There's nothing like your local Chinese. You can take your wine, relax and not spend a fortune. A friend recommended the Red Panda to us for all these reasons, and it's a bit of an institution in the area. As we expected the place was old and tired, that never puts us off. We had to wait for a few minutes inside the door for someone to finally come out of the kitchen. And seat us. They were busy, 6:30 and the place was half full already. A good sign. The greeting was friendly enough and we were shown our table. Our wine was opened and bucket fetched. All pretty good standard stuff. We ordered vegetable fried rice (was one of the best fried rices we have ever had!); Honey chicken with cashews (a massive dish! Value certainly apparent) which was so hot we couldn't really enjoy it at first, nicer once it cooled but very over cooked and not great; and the fillet steak with mustard which was very tasty and tender it went particularly well with the fried rice. The dishes were enormous. Great value. Oh and we also had the Won Tons as an entree - terribly over cooked although the meat was tasty. Service was good during the night and the place filled to capacity and was really abuzz. So food was a little hit and miss although nice, service was good, and ambience as you'd expect. I always like to judge on whether we'd go back. We probably would for the fried rice and steak dish and we want to try the spicy calamari as we've heard it's excellent. A solid 3/5 for me."
