"My husband told me he had found the best dim sims and that was a title no longer held by South Melbourne dim sims. I was dubious, because Sth Melbourne markets are really awesome, but he was right. At Tao, they make their own dim sims, including the skins. You can have them fried or steamed, but I preferred steamed. For mains we had pork spare ribs with special sauce and 8 treasure steamed duck. The sauce on the pork was closer to a traditional sweet and sour sauce with a mild chilli flavour. It was amazing and very tender. The duck dish included seafood, steamed chicken and vegetables and according to my husband, the meal was indeed a treasure. The prices were really good and the quality of our dishes was outstanding. There was a steady stream of customers whilst we were there and many were dining in as we did. The owner was incredibly friendly and happy to have a chat. You can also buy frozen dim sims to take home to feed your secret addiction. What a gem!"

"Beautiful ambience, very relaxed yet stylish and comfortable. Opens to the street and yet was relativley quiet. Dinner was amazing, the satay sticks were some of the best Ive had, better than some I had in Thailand. We then shared a glazed port fillet ..Lemongrass beef stir fry, both super tasty and fresh. Veggies were crisp and tasty. Staff were genuinely pleasant (you can pick the ones who are forcing it), attentive and I would not hesitate to return again"
