"Three of us called into the Shamrock for an early evening meal. The waitress brought us PRAWN CRACKERS to keep us busy while we studied the menu. We ordered two glasses of WHITE WINE (C and I) a glass of COKE. For starters C had the BARBECUED SPARE RIBS, K had the SKEWER CHICKEN and I had the CHICKEN AND SWEET CORN SOUP. They were delicious. For our Mains, C had the FILLET STEAK AND CHEF’S SPECIAL SAUCE WITH FRIED RICE, K and I both had SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN AND BOILED RICE. The portions were generous but we ate as much as we could!! All of us were pleased. To finish off, the three of us had BREAKFAST TEA. The service was good, the atmosphere was lovely and we hope to return to the Shamrock soon."
