"The restaurant looks interesting as it was always packed full of people when I walked past. So I decided to order a simple takaway food from Bangkok Bites for Sunday night. Crab and Prawn Fried Rice and Crying Tiger. Pretty standard items but it cost $29.90. <br>

Both servings were very generous and the ingredients were very fresh. Especially generous with four big, plump and juicy prawns and plentiful crab meat! The beef also tasted fresh and tender. What let both dishes down is the flavour. <br>

I love authentic Thai taste and also some well done modern Australian Thai but these two dishes did not taste right. They did not have an authentic Thai flavour albeit the restaurant is called Bangkok Bites. <br>

The sauce they used for fried rice and beef marinate are both very sweet. What I expected from Crab Fried Rice is a fluffy light flavour but the fried rice was somewhat oily, texture slightly gluggy and the heavy strong flavour of the sauce was overpowering the delicate crab meat taste. The dipping sauce for Crying Tiger was also too sweet and sticky with not enough sour and salty taste, although it has slight bite of spiciness. The balance was way off. <br>

Bangkok Bites is certainly accustomed to Australian taste but definitely one of my least favourite. So I probably won't try again as the flavours are really not for me."

"What is better than a good old thai before visiting the urfave dude, jeremih, in enmore theatre? at least we thought that. ordered the seafood pad khi mao and it was disappointing and very overpriced as there are many Thai places that make it cheaper (and tastier the only redeeming features: 1) the service was good, waitress friendly, even if they thought we were underage. 2) in the position to order a wodka next to the ur food 3) the generous free garn chips oh, and jeremih was blazin thank u for the question."

"Saab Wer Thai is a small restaurant in Newtown. I went there for the lunch special. Before ordering, a free dessert “Coconut Sticky Rice” is given to all customers. <br br Green Curry] plain green curry with many vegetables. Would be better if it could be more salty or more spicy.<br br Thai fried rice] Thai fried rice. The veggies are a bit uncooked.<br br/>I would rate if half marks are possible. This place is price worthy but would be better if they could make dishes more delicious."

"Nice food inexpensively, but terrible service! Was informed 15 minutes before a birthday booking for 22 people that the booking of someone else had been canceled, but they did not even bother to take a name! They offered us 11 "free" ice creams after spending about $ 400 in their restaurant in which they attempted to add to the bill! Really hope that the manager takes note of this feedback and the staff has a strict word."
