"Have been one of my favorite places for years. It is a bit expensive and staff barely speaks English and does not know their own menu. But the food is awesome! I would even say incredibly inventive rolls."

"The last time I reunited with Thai food was around a month ago Considering I don't have Thai food often, I thought it'd be nice to rediscover those flavours again, especially when I have a dining companion joining me : <br/ <br/ Table reserved for 2 people at 7:30pm majority of the seatings inside were full. The alfresco area seemed relaxing, with the heater on and the natural breeze it was the perfect environment. <br/ <br/ The menu offered a vast selection of soups, curries, rice and noodle dishes, seafood and the list just went on. We decided on the Banana Leaf Chicken, Thai Lamb and a bowl of White rice to share. <br/ <br/ Food came to the table reasonably quick The Thai Lamb was delightful, meat was soft and each piece I had was filled with flavour (salad was really fresh too . The chicken was slightly on the drier side, but to compensate that, the side sauce made it quite enjoyable (I liked the lemongrass taste it had . <br/ <br/ My dining companion and I both preferred the Thai Lamb over the Banana Leaf Chicken. Service was quick, nice experience accompanied by friendly staff : <br/ <br/ Thank you That Thai!"

"I was in the area looking for a place to have a quick lunch when I came across sushi railway. Wow! I was pleasantly impressed. Delicious and very fresh sushi at a very VERY affordable price. I tried 4 different types of sushi and the fish was very fresh (no dark colours, no funny smells), they also didn't over-do the sauces and mayo as well. This place offers plenty of options and if you are not happy with whatever is on the train they will cater for your request. However, I don't think you need to order sushi... in all honesty this is one of the most varied sushi trains I've been to. It's not exotic sushi but what you get is variety and the beauty of simplicity. I'd highly recommend this place if your budget is under $15-$20 per person."

"One of my favorite Brisbane Restaurants. Been going since I was a baby. Amazing service and great home style meals at a fair price. I think the neg reviews must be from competing businesses. It's a must. Love it, especially the closed pizzas."

"Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Preise sind angemessen, wenn nicht sogar günstig. Indisches Essen einfach zum geniessen. PS: Guter Wein vom Bottleshop nebenan mitbringen."

"We had a pleasure of dining here in February and the food was exceptional. We pretty much ordered everything on the entree menu and shared. The pate was amazing along with the tapas and prawn dishes. Service was ok, however had to look out often for waiter attention. Have had friends dine here recently that complained of staff not picking up dirty plates when walking pass tables and having to click fingers in order to get attention, however our experience was pretty good overall."

"Beautiful atmosphere but that's about it. The time it took to deliver pre made toasted sandwiches was incredible. Our coffee was cold by the time we eventually got our food, prompted by myself. The sandwich was very poor quality. It's a shame because we have...eaten here before and it was lovely."

"Such a tiny welcoming family restaurant-nice and simple. Were friendly served by the owner dad and his son. Mamaku meaned my mother in Indonesian language, and there was a photo of the owner 's wife and her mom hanging there. Chosen from the simple menu, the prawn and pork meatballs soup tasted quite superb in the real chicken broth. The meatballs themselves were well seasoned, juicy and tender. The char shui pork nasi goreng served with all the salty, sweet, spiced flavours and topped with a sunny-side-up egg. And the mee goreng tasted ok, but the whole dish (for me) was very dry and overcooked. My Malaysian mate mentioned it 's also served this dry in Malaysia...read more"
