"A real romantic setting with great food, drinks and service. We loved the atmosphere right by the square and river, as it made for a perfect romantic date. The food was also amazing. The prawn starter was nice, my friends shells were very nice and my steak was very good and delicious. The beer was also very nice and would definitely recommend. The service was polite and got our food in a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend and definitely come back."

"We were on our way back to the train station after visiting Brugge, it was getting late, we were not sure if we had time to eat here and make our connections, but took the chance, were we ever glad! 't Bagientje was just what we were hoping to find, a warm, charming restaurant serving classic Flemish fare. The staff were not all as familiar with English as most of the touristy places might have been, but there was a young waitress who was able to help us out, plus google translater. I had rabbit and plum sauce, my daughter had a chicken dish, a creamy gentse waterzooi or something similar which was fabulous, my wife had a flavorful beef stew. Portion were generous, and the evening was wonderful. Highly recommend!!"

"Visited today (4 adults . I have read comments here and was quite unsure about the quality. But... The meal was very good despite we had to add a lot of salt almost to every meal to improve the taste. But than it was all ok. Our waiter was friendly and pleasant and paid attention to our table. Finally, the desert (Apple cake was delicious. Wish all of you to have the same experience ;"
