"Here for dinner with the family. We ordered lamb masala, chicken corma, and balak distributor with garlic naan and rice. The food arrived fast, although it was busy. Solid East Indian food for a western palate. Will be back."

"I visited the place yesterday with my friends. It was the first time I had sushi in my life and I took help from the waitress for suggestions. She suggested us Torched Tuna and a few other dishes (sorry, I don't remember the names) from the menu which included both sushis and tempuras. All the dishes were excellent and I don't have words to express how good it was especially the Torched Tuna. I would strongly recommend the place to anyone who is looking for some Japanese food. I wish I got a table on the open terrace that overlooks the marina and the Piers but the restaurant was a bit busy and the tables were occupied. The service was excellent too with very friendly staff. I look forward to visiting the place very soon. The only thing I regret is that I didn't visit the place before yesterday. Thanks Miki's Sesame Sushi for making my day."

"Four of us enjoyed drinks and a sumptuous seafood chowder on the spacious deck overlooking the Campbell River, much-entertained by splashing salmon... and three seals no doubt feasting on pinks and coho.As the evening cooled, we moved into the cosy upstairs dining area and started our generous mains; a Prawn Shrimp Scallop Fettucini, a Chicken Curry Stirfry, my Hunter Pork Schnitzel, and a Smoked Chicken Pesto. Two very reasonably priced bottles of red (an Argentinian Malbec/Shiraz... and a Perseus Cab/Merlot) complemented our meals.We shared a Trio Cheesecake... maybe just a little too sweet for some. (Not a crumb remained!)Our waiter Rita was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble and our interest in the Lodge was repaid with a brief but fascinating history of this riverside restaurant... .We’ll be back!"

"We visited Royal Zayka las week and they definitely deserve 5 stars. Finally a fantastic indian restaurant in town! We had the Royal Mixed Grill, Chicken Mango Curry, and the Cheese Naan. All of them were spectacular, we will be back soon to celebrate my birthday that is coming up soon. If you like Indian food Royal Zayka is a must visit!"

"We used to go here all the time when my boys were younger. My kids are now teenagers and it’s been years since we have come. And the lovely young lady who always greets everyone and checks in on everyone remembered my family and my kids. Such a great feeling to be remembered The food is yummy like we remember. We will definitely be coming back again"
