"Today i have ordered an afternoon tea takeaway for the 21st November from Betty’s Northallerton. I rang and received a pleasant greeting. My order was taken and repeated back to me as we had to change the sandwich order, due to a fish and seafood allergy. The person was polite, courteous and professional. I would recommend this service to anyone who is wanting an afternoon tea, and have not got the time to visit the tearoom."

"This food was amazing I went as I had a job in Easingwold and read reviews all I can say is quality with quantity which is a rare thing I actually warmed it up when I returned home after a few me and my partner had it got full and I warmed it up again the next day with what we left we got the chicken curry with fried rice and crackers 2 fried rice crackers the best I’ve ever had coming from york even when fresh from other places they tasted better when I warmed stuff up but they tasted good and like they should,overall to me and I like my curry I were blown away with quality and quantity id suggest you believe me it were quality great food"

"It looked fantastic, but the meat was mainly fat, the Yorkshire was okay, then the rest of the plate was all jus/carrot purée/ two tiny potatoes and a tiny pot of brocolli and cauliflower cheese was shared (which was bland). Where are all the proper veggies? The purées mushed tiny portion of red cabbage on the plate just mixed in with the gravy and couldn’t be tasted. One of us had the veggie ‘cauliflour steak’ and it was just a plate of cauliflour with some cut up grapes on top?! Also the children’s Sunday dinner was £10.95. So disappointing. Have 2 stars as the atmosphere is lovely, staff are lovely and place is cosy and inviting but the food is all fur coat and no knickers."

"We had a takeaway this Sunday evening, it was the worst I have ever had. My daughter ordered salt and pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chips and curry sauce, the chicken was inedible in both dishes, it was like rubber. My husband and...I ordered lemon chicken and beef and black bean sauce, with egg fried rice. It didn’t look very appetising, I put it on our dinner places and it tasted horrible. It was very expensive for what we got and I’m the fact i had to throw it in the bin. I will never go back, it was my daughter who wanted to try somewhere different. We will be going back to our usual. My advice is to go to one of the others in Town so that you and your family/friends won’t be disappointed. Very expensive for the small amount of foodr"

"There isn't much open in the area in a Monday night so we got a takeaway from here. It was really tasty, and it was nice they do smaller portions as I often find it far too much."

"Price of 2 scones to take away was £3.10 each in a bag with no butter included same price as eat in. That makes them more expensive than Betty's fat rascals to buy. Not even the best scones by far. Shan't be returning."

"My wife and I have been to this place a few times and we are always pleased, the food is served quickly and is always very tasty. The restaurant itself is well set out and spacious, it is presented well with fish tanks around, which are nice to look at. The service is great. We will return."
