"Couldn’t fault it. Prawn Pad Thai superb, Nasi Goreng also excellent, as were the Chicken Gyoza. And that was more than enough for two. Quite honestly some of the best Asian takeaway I’ve ever eaten and seemed to arrive just after I placed the order (although must have been 25 mins I guess). Strong recommend."

"Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. all staff were friendly and quiet. my family was all satisfied with the delicious food. I ordered bruschetta and tagliatelle salsicce, which was creamy, sweet and filling. also generous with a free starter and drinks at the end of the meal. Definitively one of the best restaurant experiences I had and I will return definitiw."

"I have been using “The Nishan” since about 1995 when I was a Taxi driver for PM cars by Emerson Park station. I’ve always loved it and enjoyed the food. I went to collect our order (Saturday Night) as I know they are very busy, got in the shop and waited at the counter. I had a brief chat with another guy doing likewise. He was served and the guy on the counter acknowledged me and said my food wouldn’t be long. He knows who I am anyway. Whilst waiting at the counter a clear view can be seen pretty much straight down the kitchen where the guys are feverishly cooking. There are about 4 of them. One of the guys opened an oven of some kind, to the left of the doorway I was looking through. A tray which I thought at the time (and now know to be Bombay Potatoes) was half out of the oven. One of the chefs was ladling the potatoes from the tray/oven on the left of the kitchen to the Wok/Pan on the hob to the right. Some was dropped on the floor. Here’s where is gets sinister. The guy then (with his hands and the ladle/spatula) scoops up the Potatoes and drops them straight into the pan. I was speechless. I then asked if the pan of Bombay potatoes was in fact MY pan of Bombay potatoes. I was told that yes, it was, the guy thinking that I was concerned at the delay. I am a little ashamed to admit that I did at this point have a sense of humour bi-pass. I cancelled my order, threw a few F’s about and left. This is disgusting. It’s a floor! People are walking on it with their shoes! The food we buy from here we put into the mouths of our children! I will never order from here again. It’s not that I haven’t got my way or some other slight. I have been a patron for decades and won’t deny I have always been happy and looked after. Very very disappointing, I have been badly let down as possibly has anyone else who orders from here if these practices are standard. I will be reporting this to Environmental Health on Monday morning."

"I must admit that I was quite disappointed we ordered the set meal for three of us and the other two people in our group ordered separately. The starters all came up separately so we did not all get to eat together. As for the main meal I had to go and ask if we could have all the dishes together, however the waiter was quite rude. We were that disappointed that we could not be bothered with the desert that we had paid for. Overall the food was only average, but the service was poor if I was being kind. Would I go back NO Would I recommend it NO Was it value NO (because of the service) I am a big believer of if you receive a good service you should let people know as you should if you receive a bad service, in this case it was the waiter that changed it from not that good to a bad one."
