"I popped in at HAWKERS HUT recently for a takeaway order. I found the staff to be pleasant and the service was quick, only taking 15 minutes. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein, Sczechuan Beef (Seshwan beef) and Sweet Sour pork. They were all fantastic dishes and succulent with no overbearing chilli added, I wasn't on the toilet the next day.. From my experience I'd recommend others to check out HAWKERS HUT, it's just across the road from the Lakelands Tavern. Vegetarian options: If you ask for vegetarian options they will accomodate for you, just be aware on busy times it will take longer as they need to clean and prepare their equipment. Parking: There's limited parking spots right out the front of HAWKERS HUT but if you go behind The Lakelands Tavern or in the Lakelands Forum carpark for dinner there will be plenty of spaces, just a short walk. Wheelchair accessibility: There's no steps as the entrance is level to the road and parking areas, just be aware the doors are push/pull.
