"Dined at Queenies on a Saturday. Entrance is through the busy & buzzy Forresters Hotel and up two flights of stairs. We liked the attempt to create some sort of Caribbean decor with low lighting and music to suit, though the music was too loud for us.Service was friendly and a little slow to start but improved once our orders were taken.We ordered a goat curry, a mixed vegetable dish, chicken jerk and a bowl of mussels. The Goat curry and mixed vegetable dishes were just a small layer on top of a bowl of rice. It tasted nice but it was a struggle to find any meat in the goat curry. The bowl of mussels were popular with my friends but I didn't think it was as good as what an average Italian restaurant serves up. The chicken jerk was enjoyable however one piece of chicken was too pink in the middle and was left aside.In a nutshell, reasonable value restaurant with enjoyable atmosphere but would be better with lower music volume, service was good but the food was average - just. Probably best for a loud group who are more into talking and drinking than eating."

"Attached to The Royal Albert, the Bamboo Dumpling Bar is the perfect place to have a quick bite after meeting friends for a drink at the bar.<br>

There's a good range of dishes to choose from, and the dumplings are all very reasonably priced.<br>

For dessert we had chocolate spring rolls and a selection of "mystery" dessert dumplings."

"Ouroboros is a very cosy café in Surry Hills, Sydney. We went for brunch and there are lots of great, healthy, and tasty options. I had the avo smash and it was delicious! Also lots of teas to choose from. Overall, a cute place with...friendly staff and great food!"

"My wife and I had dinner last Sat evening. The food was fine but nothing to rave about. The service and ambiance were ok. We have been to an Italian restaurant nearby where everything was excellent. We did like the rustic look of the place but apart from that...everything was average for the price we paid."
