"I have been visiting this place sporadically for a number of years. It is a family owned business and it shows. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, and the food is great. I make a point of trying different things on the menu and the staff are always very good at explaining the dishes and, when asked, making suggestions. Tonight I had the chicken shashlik and it was without doubt the best I have ever had at any restaurant. Hence the urge to write this review. N.B. They are not on the internet so takeaways have to be ordered via a phone conversation."

"We visited here as a family and as always, were so impressed with the food and the service. The choice of dishes is so extensive and the food is just fabulous. This is easily our favourite Indian and we don’t even live close by! The service is spot on every effort is made to ensure you have a great dining experience. Thank you to the team we will be back again soon!"

"Another visit to the Mole for my parents anniversary, and not disappointed. Surprised by other recent reviews as we have always enjoyed the food here. The wine was chilled and delicious, we had the chicken, fish and chips and Moules and frites. All delicious, well presented, good portion size and piping hot. We also like their range of deserts and the strudel is a highlight for me, don’t know another restaurant outside of Austria where I can get this! Service was attentive without being rushed, decor, ambience, cleanliness and comfort all good. A bigger car park would be a bonus and it would be great to see the occasional special, to change up the menu a bit, but hey, we will be back."

"Appearance outside ,has plenty parking and inviting . The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere , tables laid ready , good presentation. Staff were friendly quick to seat us ,serve us with a drink ,and left us with the menu.Interesting December menu with a good variety...of meals , also Christmas menu consisting of two or three courses at fixed price. We chose from both menus. Food arrived quickly and extremely well presented , tasty. Friendly staff checking that all was well . Delicious meal .We are looking forward to returning to The Cherry Tree and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it."

"We like Godstone and visit occasionally, for The Bell and Oka down the road. Last Friday Lunchtime, we took a chance on getting a table as the amount of cars there showed very busy. Our good luck was to be shown to a table in the Conservatory and settling in we thoroughly enjoyed Sea Bass and a Steak and Malbec pie, both really good and great coffee. It's worth the journey from East Kent for the Bell alone!"
