"We went to the venue after reading reviews stating that this was a place for good, authentic ramen noodles quality sushi. Unfortunately this is not the case. Service was slow but after a good 30 minutes (was not even a half full restaurant), we were able to order several dishes. The yakitori skewers were good and actually the most tasteful dish. The takoyaki had little to no flavor and tasted only bonito flakes. As for the sushi, we ordered several of the special makis with salmon and these tasted ok, nothing more and nothing less. We ordered two different bowls of ramen as well, miso and vegan style ramen. Both broths were bland and boring, literally no flavor so we had to throw in soy and chili to get some flavor. As for noodles, they had an ok texture, but that does not help much when the soup does not taste anything. Sorry, but this will be the first and last time eating here. Probably an ok place for sashimi sushi if you are in a mood for that, but I would not pay extra for the maki rolls."

"Located inside Hotel Sacher Restaurant Rote Bar oozes with history, its all-red interior, oil paintings and crystal chandeliers coupled to formal service and Viennese classics such as Tafelspitz and the eponymous Sacher Torte. Adjacent Vienna’s State Opera, an open terrace offering views of a gathering pre-show crowd, it is after warm greetings that guests are offered velvet seats and white linens plus a choice of Beverages followed by warm Focaccia. Served a la carte, modern compositions made from seasonal Ingredients alongside plates with history, it is after a nightly amuse that Appetizers range from Wedding Soup to Asparagus Risotto, though fans of Foie Gras should not overlook the Goose Liver Tarte which pairs beautifully to sweet Riesling. A leisurely meal intended to be savored, the clientele’s average age eclipsing sixty, Entrees feature tableside service ranging from Sauce poured over Braised Beef to plating Tafelspitz while Sacher’s Wiener Schnitzel arrives perfectly prepared in two cuts large enough to share. Accompanied by Piano in the damask room after 19h00, the sun slowly setting through tall windows, Dessert includes ideas old and new though the Chocolate Torte with a layer of Apricot justifiably seems to find its way onto every table."

"We got a very nice table next to the bar with a nice view on the street. Staff was efficient, competent and so friendly! We found the menu somehow short. Food was good. The rosé prosecco excellent! Surprisingly people were aloud to smoke starting from...21:30. We did not move to the non-smoking room. The tables there stay very close to each other and it was very noisy. All in all a very nice experience"

"I don't live in meadows anymore, but visit this restaurant every time I return. it never disappoints. all the dishes are good. the visit with a group is best because the portions are generous, so they can be divided. there are numerous elements on the menu that are suitable for a single diner, however. my only complicity is that the place is not completely smoke-free, but this is a problem everywhere in how."

"I am 65 years old and from New York and waited all this time and traveled to Austria to find the best Chinese food I have ever eaten.I have a strict rule to only eat the local cuisine when traveling but this place looked so inviting I refused to pass it up and after all: "Rules are made to be broken". It is an old style family owned Chinese restaurant with wait service, table cloths, and serenity. These places have been pretty well replaced by take-outs, and low quality buffets in America. It was a pleasure to enjoy decor and style, quality food and service that can no longer be taken for granted. The wood walls and stain glass were awesome. The service was prompt and friendlybut not rushed. I ordered a soup that consisted of fine broth with huge shrimp. This was followed by delicious steamed doughy dumplings served in a bamboo basket.I was given a whole pot (not a cup) of fresh brewed tea. My main course was magnificent. A whole pound of boned barbecued succulent duck slices over a bed of vegtabales.Wow!The only thing that was not Mandarin Chinese was a Vieneese dessert which was a ball of premium ice cream rolled in crushed hazelnuts with an appricot center. The entire dinner was apx $25. It is in a residential neighborhood just bordering the main tourist section, only a bloch from the famous Catholic Church. My only complaint is that I came back on Monday and they had closed at 3pm (1500hrs), so call for hours before you go. Many restaurants in Vienna outsidethe tourist zone close early, close on Mondays or are only open for dinner etc..To the local residents I say: Patronize this gem before it gets replaced by a self serve plastic joint with cardboard containers."

"We had the daily offer which was spring roll or soup followed by beef and small dessert for around 7,50 €. Decent and quick service, delicious food, not tasting like artificial stuff. Fresh ingredients like beef, Thai basilicum and cucumber Small place only but very nice and clean atmosphere. I would definitely come back here!"
