"The food was excellent and the service excellent. The dessert menu cannot be overlooked. We ordered chocolate cake, bread pudding with vanilla sauce and freshly fried churros with dulce de leche sauce. It was very difficult to choose one of the three as favorites."

"We have been many times before and as my youngest son later commented this was by far the worst experience we have had here. We were a party of 7 celebrating my wife's birthday (later grudgingly acknowledged with a complimentary glass of wine . In no particular order rude, unsmiling, disinterested waitress (the manageress said she was one of their top performers! . Indifferent food quality £31.50 for a shared mixed hanging kebab with cold prawns (we didn't risk sending them back to be re heated, or worse.... and bullet like lamb koftas. Food, cutlery, serviettes carelessly dispatched on the table (iphones are expensive you know! a card machine thrust into my face with me having to extract a please before I paid, and oh yes, a 10% service charge automatically added to the bill (we were too beaten to argue the toss by that stage . We were offered 20% off our next visit, but why would we want to go again? Let's face it, there are other places in Alderley Edge."

"It was our first visit in this beautiful pub. we had our dog with us and he was with us, gave us a warm welcome from the personal. excellent eating and service. the sirup sponge and custard was delicious! look forward to our next visit in this charming pub."

"Absolutely stunning. The food was amazing, really tasty and flavoursome. Great music and atmosphere. Beautiful decor. Amazing, friendly and attentive staff. I can definitely recommend the mushroom croquettes, mac and cheese and sushi. We had an amazing evening we will definitely be back. Five Star Food And Service. Thank you."

"Nice vibe. revived and full of energy. great food, cheap. the screaming chef was a bit annoying after a while, but it added to the feeling of the atmosphere as a whole. next time I would ask for a table in the winter garden at the front."

"I loved going here because it was such a nice restaurant. I and my friend really enjoyed our appetizers (I got hummus falafel, she was baked brie). also the main thing was great, but mine was a little exaggerated for me (red veg baker). However, I still recommend very much, as the staff were beautiful and great vegan/veggie options."
