"Booked a celebratory meal in the hotel's restaurant. Food was superb and is highly recommended, but the service was abysmal. The lead waitress/ supervisor failed to smile once and was very curt in all her responses. She lacked attentiveness, politeness and any positive traits of a good waitress. She also ruined our planned surprise despite earlier discussions to run things smoothly. I was truly beyond disappointment. Was hoping to opt out of the 12.5% service charge but unfortunately this is fixed. Paid up silently and left knowingly never to return."

"Had booking but name was not taken, just shown to table. Had to go to bar to order as app not working. Staff pleasant and helpful, food came in good time, hot and plentiful. Prices very reasonable. Check backs and table clearing good."

"My friend ordered the lamb, but had to send it back because it was cold and hard. the cake was tasty, but the vegetables were overcooked and not good. the burger was dry. they seemed to be very short staff, as there was only one waiter and he was away from his feet, so the service was not good. very too expensive for what it is. disappointed"
