"Good luck finding a table here for brunch on Saturday or Sunday! There’s a reason why Contessa is so popular though, the staff are beyond friendly and the Grounds of Alexandria coffee is the best in the area! <br/>I only wish that the hollandaise on my eggs Benedict was homemade but if you’re not as fussy as I am about things like that, then you have to enjoy this gorgeous space in Balmain!"

"This beautiful restored sandstone building offers a breathtaking view of the iconic sydney harbour bridge. inside it feels open, but cozy, generously welcoming. the food was beautifully presented delicious. the oysters were sweet plump, the seafood dishes fresh, perfectly cooked delicious. service was friendly attentive. a beautiful place to enjoy, celebrate and relax."

"Great food, we had a variety of meet dishes all of them having their unique taste. The highlight was the Halloumi screwed. Came on a tiny smocking grill. They were crunchy on the outside and soft melted inside. The smoke have a new depth to the taste that was balanced with the drizzle of honey in top."

"Our usual pub closed for renno. Tried this one. Disappointed to say the least. No Australian black beer to start. Menu rather expensive for a pub. All three of us had the alleged Wagyu beef burger. I say alleged as it was flavourless and the...dressing was only worth scrapping off, in all over priced for what was presented. Upon leaving I spotted a couple have the steak it didn't look worth the price of over $30. It was mall with very little sides. I was not impressed with this pub food."

"So glad I found this little gem in Balmain. A modern funky fitout to accompany the modern funky food. I love betel leaves, they are my Thai tacos. Massaman curry is delicious and the roti that comes with it is soft and flakey. <br/>Definitely worth a visit, date night or just a mid week dinner."
