"Ate here on Saturday night. This was our first time as we have just moved to the area. We had great expectations but I’m afraid we won’t be returning. Staff were exceptionally poor at advice on drinks. Asked what soft drinks were available I was informed J2, orange or red. The salad with the pate was served without any dressing and tbh was of poor quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my main of chicken and mushroom with veg, although half a roast potato is a tad mean. The pizza was tasteless and should have had chill in it but none was detected. The cannelloni was dry. We weren’t offered Parmesan or black pepper. It was just disappointing."

"Ordered a Prawn Cocktail starter, and found a caterpillar, or other such grub, crawling around on it. It was replaced by another which was ice cold, and barely defrosted. the main course calzone, was raw in the middle. Had to eat the edges and topping, but the rest was inedible. My other half had pasta in a so called sauce, but it was very watery. Won't be going back!"

"I came to lunch with my beautiful friend maxwell yesterday. I don't think we're complaining. eating is nice not only to eat, but also in its presentation. the personal is always polite and pleasant. a well-rounded good experience and a fabulous place to rest and chat. many thanks!"

"First time to order here and had Pancake Rolls which had a nice taste but a little bit greasy, chicken sweet and sour balls batter quite thick and the chicken was dry inside sauce but greasy and not a great taste, beef and mushrooms which was really nice and fried rice which was nice come to £20:20 which is fairly competitive compared to a number of takeaways in the area. This is a cash only takeaway. Food: 3"

"Super little village pub with friendly efficient staff, very good service. An uncomplicated dinner menu but all apparently locally produced and freshly prepared. Good range of proper beers. Definitely don’t think twice."
