"My husband and I visited the Eveready diner this morning for breakfast. I usually go with a friend of mine and we had breakfast there maybe once every six weeks. So I thought my husband would enjoy it as well. I ordered my favorite, Benedict with a side order of fruit instead of the usual home fries. My husband on the other hand ordered eggs over easy with corn beef hash and hone fries. Both dishes were delicious. However, we did also order coffee, and both of us did not have refills. When the bill came, we were astounded to see that we were charged $3.50 per cup of coffee. Now, I don't know about you but I think that's an excessive amount for a regular diner cup of coffee. If I wanted a gourmet cup of coffee I wouldn't have minded paying that much. So, as a result of being charged an exorbitant amount for one measly little cup of coffee, which I didn't drink because it tasted burnt, is a bit ridiculous. Most Diners include coffee with your breakfast or for a lesser amount and refills are free. And for that reason, I give them a bad review."
