"We were hoping that the opening of La Carretta in our neighbourhood would make it our everyday 'go to ' restaurant. This is not the case. Our dine in meal was so disappointing, signs said to be patient as every meal was cooked from fresh but I guarantee my entrée was on precooked rice that had been frozen reheated and the garlic sauce the same. My husbands entrée was ok but he said he wouldn 't have it again. Our mains were both veal (different dishes) and they came out EXACTLY the same, even to the placement of the vegetables, with the exact same sauce on each, only his didn 't have bacon or avocado through it. We were very surprised at this lack of imagination and difference. We left very disappointed but vowed to try again with their pizza as they looked (we checked other tables) nice. Last night we tried 2 different pizzas. They had a very thin crust and a fair amount of topping so needless to say they were a little soggy and hard to eat, but tasted quite nice. We might give the pizzas another try. We decided that we would not eat in here again but might get a take away pizza for an easy dinner. The service was OK, the waitresses were 2 young girls and did an adequate job."
