"We were passing through the town and stopped for lunch. This restaurant welcomed 9 of us and went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating to our needs. I didn't fancy the available mains, but they quite happily gave me an extremely palateable omelette and frites. My companions were all very happy with their mains too. Dessert was unbelievably nice!"

"We stopped by chance here for lunch today. Wonderful. Place was packed but the kind staff found us a table and we were there 3 hours for a fantastically wonderful lunch. Credit to the chef and staff. Seafood is amazing and wine superb. The harbour view is great and feels very French and warming. Wish there were more place like this."

"Excellent value "formule midi", lunch menu, with of course an excellent choice of local fish. I really enjoyed all three courses: charcuterie platter, shallow fried sardines with fries, and a cheese platter. They were happy to serve us despite being a bit soggy from 3 hours on the bike in torrential rain, unlike some of the other places in Douarnenez. Lots of competition in the area, and this restaurant offers a good choice of local produce at good value with a terrific view over the bay."
