"Cafe Brunelli Glynde took the Covid 19 downturn in business to upgrade and renovate their outlet at Glynde. The new look is fresh and inviting with the addition of cubicle style seating making several distinct eating areas. The overall look is contemporary but whoever did...the design went overboard with the artificial greenery which tends to clutter otherwise clean lines. Our order for the night included the garlic pizza as entrée and then Marina Spaghetti and a warm chicken salad for myself. Lemon, Lime and Bitters for drinks. Service was at the counter with the meals paid for as ordered. It wasn’t a busy period so service was prompt with the dishes ordered arriving quite quickly. The waitress was friendly and polite. The garlic pizza arrived first and was delightful with the buttery garlic topping oozing everywhere. I would have preferred a stronger garlic presence. The two mains were reasonably priced and were enjoyable. The Marina was full of seafood but appeared to of a smaller size with less pasta than we had ordered previously. The chicken salad had juicy chicken pieces with a crisp fresh salad base. The drinks were of a good strength. The variety of Italian based desserts tempted us but we withstood the temptation but can’t guarantee that on future bookings. Cafe Brunelli Glynde offers a take away option for pickup which we have used on a couple of occasions and have no issues at all with the process or the food. Return? Probably as the food is good and we have never faulted any service."
