"Very friendly and attentive staff. The bento boxes were great there was a bit of everything to try on and the portions were more than enough. Loved especially the grilled fish, tempura and pickled aubergine."

"ZAB THAI is great!!! Easily some of the best Thai I have had in Christchurch. While I would LOVE to give them 5 stars, I have to limit myself to 4 as sometimes they are impossible to get hold of. I have been trying to ring to place an order for the last two weeks and just can't get through!"

"We had christmas lunch at Fig. It was the best christmas we have had for years. The food and service were absolutely amazing.We will be going again and recommending it to others. We thought the price was a bit steep at first but after having the meal it was well worth it."

"Really love this place. It's consistent. Soup dumplings are delsih, crispy pork, chicken and corn soup .... just really yum. But the cabbage, omg! It's sooooooo good! And flippin hot! Service was grand, quick and efficient. We go back a lot, and we will continue to do so. Just plurry love it!"

"Couldn't fault the food, service and ambience but were told we could not take our leftovers due to our group dining with First Table. We were prepared to pay for a container and prepare it all ourselves but still told this was not possible. We get that times are hard in the hospitality business but in this day and age, it seemed obscene to waste this food."

"Visiting from Auckland popped in there for dinner. Lovely clean place. Waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Ordered the chicken satay for entree chicken was cooked perfectly and satay sauce was very tasty and well presented. had the Chicken Ginger stir fry for main chicken and vegetables were cooked perfectly and the flavors was beautiful. Will defiantly come back next time I'm in Christchurch"

"Travelling with my parents who are vegetarian.. we ordered the vegetarian red curry and drunken noodles. The food was fantastic and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel and sightseeing. <br/ <br/ The curry (can be shared by two persons) is served with rice (enough for one person) and was full of flavour and spicy enough to make mum and dad happy. The quantity of vegetables in both the curry and noodles was very generous and fresh. <br/ <br/ The location is also great as it is right outside the tram stop if you are doing the hop-on hop-off tram."

"The food here is great, the service is friendly but a bit understaffed for busy times. Same goes for the kitchen I think as the food can come out at staggered times. But the food is awesome and very reasonably priced."
