"We have been using this restaurant for many years on our stays in Ross. Usually the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. On this visit the service was poor to say the least, the food was not up to its usual standard...and the keema nan had no meat in it at all. Not sure if there is a new chef or the staff are disgruntled, but we were very disappointed on this occasion. I think their main concern was the party of opposite."

"Fantastic pub, wonderful food, in fact the best vegetarian Sunday dinner I've had in a pub ever. Really friendly staff, run by a lovely young family, the locals were incredibly friendly, welcoming and chatty too. Stayed overnight in campervan at the campsite at rear of pub, which is great too with very good clean shower block. Would highly recommend this beautiful pub, I'm definitely going again next time I'm in the area"

"Booked as a overnight stay while visiting the Hay festival, friendly owners very attentive and very helpful. The room vas fantastic, bright and airy with a great bathroom and shower. The bed was really comfortable it was the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. We had food on the Saturday night, the burger was so good, And with some well kept ales that didn’t disappoint Breakfast didn’t disappoint, full breakfast cooked well and plenty of it. Food was excellent value. We will be back soon !!"

"Friendly staff and a varied menu in this small Thai restaurant. Starters and main courses authentic Thai dishes with the red duck curry and sticky rice delicious. "Our first visit to leatherbury, only one night. we ate our evening meal in the olive tree. we received a warm welcome and the service was excellent. the food was delicious and cheap. highly recommended. my only little niggle is that I could not add a tipp to the card payment. almost all restaurants now (also encourage) allow a tipp to pay cards."
