"I really do like this place! It’s chic, fun, sophisticated and pretty lay back all at the same time. Service is attentive and friendly. We went here a few weeks ago, and the menu has changed since then, good to see. I have been OS in Japan for the last couple weeks, so some reviews are a little behind! I so wish I could review some of the Japanese restaurants I dined in on Zomato! Bummer! We tried the lunch special, any dish for $14. The dishes were fresh and vibrant with nowhere to hide, pretty good honest flavours all round. I ordered the potato fish patty sort of number, which I really enjoyed, as this is such a homey dish, it was nice to see it on the menu! Really awesome pickled onions with it too! Foodie mate had Asian style chicken salad, enjoyed it but said it could have done with a bit more dressing. Would definitely return for the lunch menu.The following week we had a Birthday there as well.Majority of the dishes were enjoyed by all of the guests at the table, the only downfall was the inconsistency of the meals being delivered, some of us had to wait quite a while for our mains whilst others had already finished. I know how difficult this can be when you have a full restaurant, but maybe if the booking times were a bit more staggered this wouldn’t happen. I also ordered the duck dish (no longer on the menu), which did not have a sauce! Mmmm no sauce! No good! Had to ask the waiter to ask the kitchen if they could please give me any sauce that will go with duck, not a problem at all and it made the dish so much better! Sauce rules! No matter what! I would return, as I do find their menus fresh and interesting. Excellent wine list as well! Nice work team."

"Ordered a Laksa on Uber Eats and was a bit confused with what I received, I got the noodle base which was fine but the 'soup ' was literally just a thai red curry sauce? It was very nice mind you but not a Laksa... was a light pink/white colour rather than a typical yellow curry. I understand this is a Thai not a Malay restaurant but probably wouldn 't have ordered it if I knew this."

"We were looking to go somewhere different for lunch ,nearly forgot how good the joiners arms was .then we went right instead of across the river and how glad we did .the food was even better than last time ,if that's possible .we didn't speak it was just mmmm mmmmm .we had mushroom snitty with mushroom sauce, sweet potato chips and salad, brushetta,best I've had for ages, arrancini balls with pumpkin slithers of crunch. Toped it off with a alcoholic ginger beer.just perfect.thank you so much .then went back to my vintage shop content as......"
