"Fantastic service and delicious meals. raw oysters were fantastic, cold and fresh. hull water and hurricane cocktails are big and full of spirit! my guests enjoyed the black garnelen alfredo. the sauce was great, pasta boiled to perfection. it could have been more garnel or bigger garnel. another gast enjoyed the 1/2 and 1/2, roasted crust tail and crust fish. both were delicious! I found the prices pretty high for these offers $17 and $21. my other guests went for the dugeness crab, $40 per person, no side or salat. the crab offers were very small and did not receive their full from the crab. we'll skip next time."

"Hasta la Pasta has been in Katy as long as I can remember. We went in recently though and the visit was much different, and for the better!First off, they have completely changed the inside and separated the dine in area into two separate rooms. The original atmosphere is still there on one side, and then the other side is more open, more well lit, and self service Now this might seem odd, but it's genius. You go the counter and order your food, then go get your own drinks, then when the food is ready they bring it out to you! So you don't have a waiter or waitress, you just go in and order what you want and voila a much quicker experience.As for the food, just as good or even better than before. We had a meatball pizza which was cooked perfectly; thinner crust and healthy amount of toppings. And we had the chicken picata; which was probably one of the best chicken picatas I have ever had and the portion was very generous. Most Italian restaurants will bring you a frail looking chicken, but this one was large and amazing.All in all a great visit to a local tradition and we are definitely looking forward to going back soon. "I wanted a quick lunch to go since I was in a rush and decided to try this place out. I saw their rice dish was a little pricey, but wanted to try their curry pork cutlet .The dish was about $13 and with taxes it came out to $14.07 so for that price I was really expecting something good. The dish wasn't too bad, but it wasn't the best either. It satisfied my hunger, but it left me kind of wanting more. This is an all day menu so for lunch, that portion and price...if I was being honest, I wasn't impressed. It's not something I would be craving and will go back for. Side note: They added a side of 2 raw baby carrots and that confused me, I never have seen that before...it's kind of like they just threw that in there because there was a spot for it."
