"Visited Lucius recently after previously spotting it whilst driving past. I was tempted by the Gnocchi on the menu. So after finishing a game of tennis popped along there on my own to have a tasty feed. I wasn't disappointed. Quirky but homely design (which...you come to expect from the Blue Mountain guys) and a really welcoming barman/waiter who sat me down towards the front. A restaurant which doesn't seek to hide solo diners always bodes well I think. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. I ordered spicy prawns and a saffron risotto which was lovely..nice plump prawns and a well cooked, flavoursome risotto. Then what I was waiting for..a Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza with extra anchovies and ham. Yum...it was just great and exactly what the doctor ordered. Fresh as a daisy, good tomatoe sauce, milky salty and stringy mozzarella and the anchovies and ham satisfying my carnivorous and pescatorious (sic) desires ! Lovely...so I reluctantly tell you to try it...which means I will then have to fight you for a table...but remember I have a tennis racquet with me ! !"

"Golden Canton is nowhere near me by any means. I arrived too early for a gig in Herne Hill and decided to grab something to eat to kill time. Although it's a takeaway the lady kindly let me sit in there to have my meal, and let me tell you it's the best chinese takeaway meal I have had in years! I live right across town in West London and it takes me about 2 hrs to get there, but I now visit at least once a month (crazy right)?! I just believe when you find a good product it's hard stay away!!"

"Everything was simply perfect. Best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been. Me and my partner went there without a booking on a Friday evening and we were lucky we found a table. Food came quick and it was so tasty. I ordered masaman curry and few other dishes-can’t recommend it more!"

"Very pleasant pub, they have a secret about which only the right people know to try to find it worthwhile! good value for money and many offers to eat and drink, even at weekends. they also play sport. comfortable and good value, easy to, but very tightly kinked away. would recommend and expect to visit again"

"Every time I came by this place, it was full, so I was excited to find a table. they make in first line two things: okonomiyaki (a Japanese pancake street eating with different fillings) or noodle, again with a lot of ingredients the great to okonomiyaki is that they can choose what to put in it, and this customizable element is what this restaurant loves. I went for her special, which is based on seafood and I loved it, but they can get around and make it as they like it, I think that the pancake is better than the noodles so that and then a starter. I recommend the aubergine. the kagua bier is also very good and rare, as it was once only a man who made it in japan...read more"

"Generous portions. Seafood was fresh. Good selection of tapas and very reasonably priced. The waitress, Chelsea was superb attentive and friendly. Though the live music was entertaining, it was a bit too loud, preventing conversation throughout dinner."
