"My husband and I enjoyed a meal at Galleons for our anniversary. We both had an entree and main and I had a dessert. All food was beautifully plated and good quality. Service was friendly and very efficient. We sat at an inside table which overlooks an inground pool set in tropical surroundings and is air conditioned. Outdoor tables are also available but could be a little humid during the summer months. I recommend this restaurant."

"The dishes were fresh and tasty, the meat was nice and tender and the chilli flavour just how I like it. There was more than enough quantity in the serve however having the rice included, as is reasonably common, would be a nice gesture. The service was friendly and the wait time for the dishes short. The prices were higher than expected but still value for money."

"We were surprised there was no option of sitting inside with air-con so we sat outside and sweltered in the heat. I guess this is summer in Mackay? We enjoyed a trio of dips for lunch and a BLAT burger which was fairly good. Coffees were ok but service a little slow. Lucky we were on holidays! Close to the lagoon but not very busy."

"Best honey huh ever; best laksa I had ever lived in my life. I am addicted and eat at least 3 times a week, hail rain or glamour. and best salt n chili prawns or calamari. everything else is fabulous as fried rice and stir friys, but the three above mentioned dishes are perfect; for dying. highly highly recommended. you will never be disappointed. the personal is wonderful....and this is demanded daily on the lips, happiest and formal recollections always. has been a fan, literally for decades. only the question they have closed for 13 months and I really miss them. every word where they are new. would love the info, please."
