"Worst Mexican food ever! This was supposed to be a Chile Relleno with rice beans and Queso dip. The Chile Relleno wasn’t prepared correctly. It was so tough you could barely cut it. Beans tasted like hotdog chili, queso looked and actually tasted like potato soup. My wait time was supposed to be 15mins from the time I ordered (over the phone). It was that and more after I arrived, paid, and waited and waited… I’m not a total negative Nancy I do have a pro, the restaurant is very charming. You could totally hang out and have a few drinks there with a couple of friends, just don’t waste your money on the food.."

"Excellent small plates!!! Large plates were mediocre at best and overpriced. Soup, chicken wings, and pimento cheese were fabulous! Wine list is excellent. Lamb ragu was good. Duck was chewy on unimpressive lentils. Fish was on a soupy base that did not come together well as a dish."

"I hate to say that I found this restaurant average. The food was fine but nothing to get too excited about. I had the Chopped Steak. It had decent flavor, but totally overcooked. I was excited about the dessert of bread pudding, but it was also pretty average. Maybe we just hit it on an off night."

"The starters were excellent !!!!!!!!!! (Brie Brulee incredibly delicious !!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad were refreshingly cold, crispy, very tasty and an excellent bite. The appetizers? Not so much: crab and prawn noodles had juicy prawns, but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked ... like raw batter. The taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the gyro platter and difficult to access to spread over the pita / meat / greens combo and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the top plate itself was eye catching, but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything. The salmon was amazing, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens underneath it all were too tough and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was tasteless, but the mousse cake had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had no bitterness. I would recommend Thea's for amazing starters and a great beet salad, but the starters left a lot to be desired."
